All my accas were ruined this weekend. Celtic, usually a banker drew, and I anticipated a draw for Burnley and Watford.
Leicester having a surprisingly good record against City and it would be so typically unpredictable in that way that football is for them to deliver City’s first defeat of the season at the King Power.
United are struggling up front and Old Trafford seems to be the place for a draw so I’ve gone with that against Rafa.
Firstly though, Tottenham, whom I have backed simply because the odds are better.
North London’s derby day is nearly upon us.
I was pursuing the weekend matches in deep contemplation. I was surprised to see Liverpool favourites against United, odds that changed upon the breaking news re Mane.
Liverpool’s season is essentially fucked now.
Here is a screenshot I smugly sent to my friend after the first four matches concluded and things were going swimmingly for me.
What is an accumulator?
Accumulators are the promising holy grail of football betting. From my time in the bookies I know two crucial things. Firstly, they very very rarely come in, and secondly, the more teams that are chosen the even more unlikely it is the bet might win. It works on the principle of bundling odds together to create a superbet with huge rewards if it pays off and all predictions are accurate.
Daniel Sturridge is a talismanic figure who fills me with a sense of majesty and wonder, despite his semi permanently crippled status and seemingly ever presence on the injury room table and the reason for that is he comes off the bench and scores. The accidental impact player as it were.
