Michael Oliver referees the first premier league after the international break and England’s dismal friendlies. I’m very excited and shall definitely be watching the game, and rooting for Liverpool to continue their winning streak – I have a tenner on them to go unbeaten this season in the prem at 90/1 w Sky Bet (this was only 50/1 w Paddys).
I won an enhanced treble yesterday, three pretty safe options. I also did a ninefold acca where only one teams let me down, bloody Monaco. Merde.
I nearly had an amazing Sunday. I have never had much luck on accas.
I am accustomed to placing at least a fiver on accas – and i’m rethinking this approach. Even while watching Coming to America (a mate and I have been having Eddie Murphy movie marathons).
Leicester having a surprisingly good record against City and it would be so typically unpredictable in that way that football is for them to deliver City’s first defeat of the season at the King Power.
United are struggling up front and Old Trafford seems to be the place for a draw so I’ve gone with that against Rafa.
Firstly though, Tottenham, whom I have backed simply because the odds are better.
North London’s derby day is nearly upon us.
I was pursuing the weekend matches in deep contemplation. I was surprised to see Liverpool favourites against United, odds that changed upon the breaking news re Mane.
Liverpool’s season is essentially fucked now.
I hope Harry Kane can be auspicious for me this season. He is on profligate goalscoring form and I have been betting accordingly.

Here is a screenshot I smugly sent to my friend after the first four matches concluded and things were going swimmingly for me.
